Biography:
He completed his Ph.D. in 1987 in Applied Microbiology/Biotechnology from the Institute of Microbiology, Prague, Czech Republic, under the UNESCO fellowship program. He pursued Post-Doctoral studies at the Institute of Oriental Medicine, Kyung-Hee University in Seoul, South Korea; King Mongkut’s University and the National Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology in Bangkok, Thailand; as well as at the International Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (ICGEB) in Trieste, Italy, under the UNIDO/ICGEB fellowship. With over 35 years of experience in research and development, he has published more than 50 papers and holds eight registered patents.
