Biography:
Mr. Hurtado-Murillo studied Microbiology at Los Andes University, Colombia and graduated as Bsc in 2020. He then joined the research group of Prof. Franco at Pontificia Universidad Catholica de Chile and Prof. Contardo at Universidad de Los Andes, Chile). He currently is last-year graduate school student in Engineering sciences. His research is focused in applied microbiology on food science and technology including food characterization, food biotech, fermentation, food microbiology, health, proteomics, and digestibility. At the same time, I am a teaching assistant in undergraduate subjects such as food microbiology, molecular biotechnology, fundamentals of biotechnology, microbiological systems and food safety and quality control systems.
