Biography:
After finishing his Pharmacy studies, he got interest in Biotechnology where he got a diploma and his masters. After his PhD at Max Planck Institute for Heart and Lung Research, he took a diploma in Bioinformatics and started working at the Department of Biotechnology. Currently, he is an associate professor of biochemistry and molecular biology at the Institute for Graduate Studies and Research, Alexandria University. There, he started establishing a research line on the use of natural products with a focus on cancer. In addition, he is interested in the development of therapeutically important proteins.
